Adding sync made Jungle Disk even more valuable as a service/product. If Jungle Disk can combine backup (including external USB or Firewire drives) with ease of recovery ( files on a DVD or USB drive ) then I would be very excited. This is a great idea. One of the biggest support issues we've found is users buying one piece of software and using or trying to use one of our other products on accident. If we allowed Simply Backup to just work with the Desktop license we'd undoubtably end up with Desktop users who accidentally installed Simply Backup and can't find their network drive and other features. There will be a reseller version of the Server Edition, and the normal Reseller Edition can be locked down in 3.0 to provide only backup (no network drive/sync) if you prefer.
