Jungle Disk 2.62b is now available for download. This is a minor point release. It’s not something all users will need to update to immediately, although we generally recommend running the latest release.
The main reason we are releasing this update is that Amazon recently released a feature that allows users to “rotate” their Amazon Web Service keys. However, if you did this, Jungle Disk would no longer recognize your buckets as Jungle Disk buckets, and you wouldn’t be able to access your data properly. A few of our users have inadvertently rotated their keys without realizing the impact on Jungle Disk. In this release we’ve updated Jungle Disk to correctly access your previous buckets even if your access key & secret key both change. If you do rotate your key you will now get an error on startup and have to go through the first-time setup Wizard again to setup Jungle Disk with your new keys. Once complete your previous buckets should be accessible. Note that this does not affect users that are using the Jungle Disk Managed S3 account option, or users storing their data on Rackspace Cloud Files.
The full list of changes is below:
- Added support for access keys changing on a personal S3 account
- Fixed case-sensitivity issue when backing up from a UNC path that could cause duplicate uploads
- Fixed backups from root directory on Windows PC
- Prevent multiple “update available” dialogs from appearing on Windows
You can download the new version using the links below. We will enable the automatic update feature tomorrow if you’d prefer to update that way instead.

Yes, we are tentatively supporting Windows 7 in this release. Initial testing has not turned up any issues.

Any news on the timeline of the major update, and especially on the multi-computer sync feature?

Thanks for the Windows 7 info.
How long do you plan to support Windows 2000?
