@Jonathan - That means the Jungle Disk Plus features like upload resume and block-level updates now work with S3 buckets in the EU.

@David - you can disable the Network drive under the Network Drive settings of the configuration dialog.

@Mark - not at this time, due to the cost and bandwidth required for online backup of full machine images

I'd prefer not to have the JungleDisk "network drive" mounted all time. I can't find a preference to disable that.

Does the Linux version have the ability for JunglediskMonitor to close and let things keep running?

I'd love to be able to have a background version running (handling auto-backups, etc) but occasionally be able to use the monitor to check on it. Right now, it looks like the Linux version hasn't changed: if I start the cli jungledisk, and then try the Monitor, it complains about another version running.

Dave,
Any plans to support Windows Small Business Server. It would require VSS support to backup exchange and SQL files. This would be a great WIN for JD and the SMB Market.

I've managed to fix this. It wasn't an 'admin' issue after all and JD 2.50b works fine from my 'user' account.

I've seen on the forums issues with Kaspersky Internet security, but it looks like Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009's also has issues that causes Jungle disk to hang.

To fix it set the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 'Network - Monitored Ports' to 'Monitor select ports only'.

I've raised a support request asking Jungle disk to let me know which port is having issues to this can be further locked down.

I've just upgraded and Jungledisk monitor is totaly hung!!! I installed it from my admin account, rebooted as requested, logged on with my user account and its all hung.

Please don't tell me you have to run it as an administrator ? If so what the point of using services?
