This release is terrific -- thank you! Mac OS question: Is there any way to auto-mount a bucket upon login without launching the JD app?

@Carlos - Yes, you can install 2.5 on WHS, but will need to manage it using the WHS admin desktop

I'd really like to see Jungle Disk have a feature where it would automatically break up files larger than 5 GB into 5 GB chunks then put them back together again when downloading back to the client. Making the 5 GB file limit irrelevant and unnoticeable to the user. I realize 5GB is a large file size, but there are times when larger files need to be uploaded. GSpace does something like this with files uploaded to a Google mail account, breaking the files into 10mb chunks, but only showing one file to the user.

Love where JungleDisk is heading - can't wait for the final release 2.5.

Wishlist for the future:
- Deduplication: to further improve backup efficiency; also making it practical to do backups accross mutlitple systems that share common files.

Enterprise and/or Small Business Server editions: would handle MS Exchange, databases, and such.

Keep up the great work!

Agree with Jason. The prompt for password option would be particularly useful security-wise for USB client. They may get your S3 access keys, but that could keep them out of your buckets.

In the daily report is there anywhere to see what version of JD the client is running?
I dont see it in the 'Details' when I look at the files, it would be a nice addition.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks!

YES! MS Word in not getting stuck anymore when editing directly on JungleDisk. I assume it is the native file support - thank you so much!

As a geographically distributed small company we work with three people preferrably directly on JD as our network drive. That worked with Open Office, not with MS Office (and we work with both, as OO does not have all the features we need), that stopped responding after some time. So now with 2.49C it works like a breeze - time to ask my two partners to also update to 2.49C !
