Welcoming another new member to the team

Amid all the activity here getting ready for the Jungle Disk 2.0 launch we’re still working hard on finding great people to join the team. Scott introduced himself a few weeks ago, and today I have the pleasure of introducing Adam Preble, our first full-time Mac developer. While all of our developers have some Mac experience, Adam is our first true Cocoa-coding, iPhone-carrying, Steve Jobs-lovin’ Mac guy. He’ll be working on functionality across all the platforms we support, but I expect you’ll see more attention paid to the Mac user experience now that Adam is on the team. Please join me in welcoming Adam, and if you think you might be interested in joining the team, please check out our remaining job openings.

As a happy user of Mac JungleDisk, I say huzzah and welcome! Make us feel happy when the JungleDisk Monitor pops us, Adam.

The growth of this company is a pleasure to watch.

Yay! Think you could put the JungleDisk icon in the menu bar and get it out of the dock? :)

Thanks Dave, and everybody. I’m pleased to say that I’ve already got a few Mac enhancements in the pipeline for Jungle Disk 2.0, and I’m really looking forward to contributing to what’s already a great product. I’m tempted to comment on the allegations of my love for SJ, but Xcode is calling me…

    Glad you’re here Adam!

It’s exciting and vindicating to see a the Mac and you — a Mac developer — due respect. Please keep us posted of your thoughts and updates so we can chime in and be part of the dialog.

I look forward to supporting your efforts!
