Jungle Disk 1.43 is now available for download. This version mainly fixes a number of minor issues that users have run into recently, but one important fix involving high CPU usage is included so we recommend all users upgrade. Here is a short list of the changes in this version:
- Fixed high CPU usage after system sleep or network connection loss
- Fixed crash on Ubuntu Gusty beta
- Fixed occasional missing tray icon on Gnome desktops
- Fixed proxy authentication with SSL enabled
- System sleep on Mac is now disabled while a backup is in progress, but display dimming is still allowed
You can find the full list in the release notes.
The next release will be focused on features as described in our recent roadmap post.
Also, a note for those still running beta versions of Jungle Disk – we will soon be disabling the beta version of the software as it has been over a month since the non-beta release. Please upgrade to the release version! We do not expire release versions of the software – you are free to continue running older versions if you like, however we do recommend users upgrade to get the latest features and fixes (and all upgrades are free to paid users!)
